Instead, it had been presented as a contemporaneous court report, despite the fact that the proceedings it was claiming to be reporting had concluded ten months before the article was published.

A project which enables primary school teachers to learn how to teach their pupils a new language and a set of free online courses intended to make an understanding of Scots law accessible to everyone have been shortlisted for the prestigious Herald Higher Education Awards. The teachers learn a new language at the same time as learning the skills necessary to teach the language to their pupils through an innovative online learning programme developed by The OU and SCILT.
The project has received very positive feedback from participants and is now being rolled out across Scotland. It has been shortlisted in the Partnership category. Law making in Scotland is a suite of free online courses which can be combined with a credit-bearing assessment module to create a path from informal to formal learning.
